Shuttle To Power Island Proves Popular

The first season of the new shuttle service to Power Island run by the Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation Department came to a close September 14. Since starting on July 1, the shuttle transported a total of 112 people and two dogs. The season was cut short after a storm damaged the dock at the island. The service will resume in summer 2015.
