Comedian Jim Gaffigan To Perform At Cherry Festival

Emmy-winning comedian and best-selling author Jim Gaffigan will perform at the National Cherry Festival on Wednesday, July 6, event organizers announced Monday.

Gaffigan will appear in Traverse City at the the Pepsi Bay Side Music Stage as part of his national "The Fun Tour." Gaffigan is a six-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy-winning performer, and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. Gaffigan recently became the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora.

Tickets for Gaffigan's show go on sale Friday, February 18 at 9am online or at 888-212-3258. Tickets are $50 for general admission or $75 for reserved tickets. The festival's VIP Deck Experience, featuring complimentary adult beverages, an elevated view of the Bay Side Music Stage, and a full buffet meal, will also return this year. A limited number of VIP Deck passes will be available for Gaffigan's show at $175 each.

Gaffigan is the third act announced for the 2022 National Cherry Festival. ZZ Top will perform on Friday, July 8, while Boyz II Men will perform on Saturday, July 9.
