Lochenheath To Go Back To Being Private Club

LochenHeath Golf Club in Acme has transitioned into an exclusive private club. Beginning in January 2021, only members and their guests will be allowed to utilize the club's privileges and amenities, including golf and dining.

Lochenheath was founded in 2001 as a private club, but due to various economic and ownership changes, the club had been partially public for several years.

A statement notes, "LochenHeath's vision has always been to become a private experience. With investment from their owner group, strong leadership and service team, and growing interest in the club membership, they are now able to complete this transformation."

Two years ago, Lochenheath representatives gave the Traverse City Business News a sneak peek at their new upscale cottages on the property, and shared their intention to eventually take the club private again.
