Nonprofit Needs, Criminal Minds, Land Scams, And More

Local nonprofits go into 2024 with a big set of needs – and a long list of ways you can help.

The Traverse City Business News spoke with several nonprofit organizations doing good in the region to find out what they need to make the most impact, and they were asked to break down what could be done with less than $100, up to $500, and “Sky’s the Limit” categories, giving prospective donors an idea of how their money might be put to use.

The action-packed December issue also includes a look at how local defense attorneys do what they do (and why their work is important), an examination of local banks’ market share, a story about local businesses’ use of key performance indicators, a look at the concerning trend of land scams in our region, and much more, including insights from a half-dozen columnists at the top of their fields.
