51st Annual Buckley Old Engine Show This Week

Aug. 14, 2018

From August 16-19, the Northwest Michigan Engine & Thresher Club will present the 51st annual Buckley Old Engine Show. The show will feature over 1,000 antique steam, gas, and diesel tractors, as well as numerous antique cars, trucks, and steam engines. Events begin at 8am each morning of the show and run until dusk.

Alongside the tractor and automobile exhibits, the Buckley Old Engine Show features a variety of family-friendly activities and attractions, including steam engine rides, arts and crafts, a farm animal exhibit, hands-on farm chore demonstrations, a tractor driving school, live music, on-site food vendors, a cider mill, and a 400-lot flea market. A centerpiece of the event is a mock 1900s front street, featuring a blacksmith, a cobbler shop, a print shop and newspaper, a barber shop, a general store, and a township hall. There will also be a kids play area and scavenger hunt.

The event is held at the Buckley Old Engine Show Grounds, which are located at 6090 W 2 1/2 Rd in Buckley, Michigan. Tickets to the show are $10 per person per day, or $25 for a four-day pass. Kids 15 and under get in for free. More information can be found here.
