Artist Wanted for Bryant Park Mural

By Beth Milligan | May 4, 2023

The Traverse City Arts Commission is seeking an artist to create a mural on the side of the restroom building at Bryant Park.

The Arts Commission issued a request-for-proposals this week to "to install a colorful mural on the restroom building at Bryant Park. The mural will serve to enhance the appearance of the building, draw additional attention to the park, enrich the cultural and aesthetic quality of Traverse City, and contribute to our sense of place." The RFP states the mural will "compliment additional improvements to the restroom facility."

The RFP will close on May 23. The Arts Commission will select an artist on May 25. The project timeline calls for the mural to be installed in June.
