Bayfront Traverse City Hotel Resorts Asking $47 Million

Sept. 15, 2021

On the heels of Traverse City's biggest tourism season in recent history, two of its most prominent side-by-side bayfront hotels are for sale. Sugar Beach and Grand Beach Resort Hotels along US-31 in Traverse City are listed for $47 million

Sugar Beach, built in 1995, consists of 99 hotel rooms and two villas, while Grand Beach, built in 1992, consists of 100 rooms and two villas. Both have indoor pools.

If the properties sell at the asking price, it would set a new high water mark for lodging sales in Traverse City; Hotel Indigo sold in 2018 for $26 million.

The resorts are operated by Mount Pleasant-based LaBelle Management.
