Chase Out, Huntington In At Meijer This Spring

Jan. 26, 2015

Thirty-seven Chase bank locations in Meijer stores will close this spring in Michigan, including in Traverse City. As part of a deal with Huntington Bank to have branches of that company operating in every Michigan Meijer store by 2016, the grocery store chain and Chase are terminating their partnership at the end of their contract period.

Chase closures are expected to begin at the end of March and continue through the end of May. Bank employees will be offered positions elsewhere within the Chase company.
