City Leaf Pick-Up Starts April 11

By Beth Milligan | March 31, 2022

The City of Traverse City will begin its spring loose leaf and brush pick-up program on Monday, April 11.

Pick-up will begin on the west side of the city and move eastward. Pick-up will take place over a period of five to seven weekdays, with workers making one pass only. Leaves should be raked out into the street in front of homes for pick-up as promptly as possible on or after April 7. Brush can be placed in the alley. If there is no alley, brush can be placed behind the curb or pavement edge of the street. Residents are asked to keep catch basins clean of leaves and debris during leaf pick-up and throughout the year.
