Clancy Park Closed Through July For Improvements

By Beth Milligan | May 1, 2018

Traverse City's Clancy Park, located at the base of Old Mission Peninsula, will be closed for approximately two months to accommodate a major overhaul of the park.

City and TC Concrete crews will begin work on improvements in the park today (Tuesday), with the project expected to last until July 9. Crews will be removing existing play structures and concrete, installing new concrete sidewalks, making improvements to the natural walking area, and installing new play structures and surfacing, along with a park pavilion, site furnishings, and a basketball court.

Use of Clancy Park will be prohibited during the construction period. Signage and barricades will be in place in and around the work areas.
