By Beth Milligan | Nov. 25, 2022

The Downtown Traverse City Light Parade will take place Tuesday (November 29) after being cancelled last weekend due to weather.

The Central High School Choral-Aires will begin the celebration with carols at 5:30pm at the corner of Cass and East Front streets. Santa is scheduled to arrive at 6pm to light the downtown Christmas tree. The light parade will start at 6:30pm and travel along East Front Street between Franklin and Union. A map of the parade route and the order of participating floats can be found online here.

Santa will be at his house following the parade in the new civic square at the corner of Union and State streets. Hot chocolate from Water's Edge Sweet Tooth will be available. Additional hours for Santa during the holiday season are available online here.
