Dunkin' Donuts Seeking Traverse City Franchisee

Oct. 16, 2014

Dunkin' Donuts is looking to add more than 40 restaurants in Michigan over the next several years and is specifically targeting Flint, Lansing and Traverse City.

A Dunkin' Donuts location opened last year inside the Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City. Another one that operated on Munson Avenue in East Bay Township closed in 2009 after 14 years. Corporate headquarters filed a lawsuit against those local franchise owners alleging breach of contract for failing to pay advertising and franchise fees and other costs.

To help fuel growth in Michigan, the corporation is offering special development incentives including reduced royalty fees for four years and up to $10,000 in local store marketing.

Individuals interested in learning more can contact Shawn Caric dunkinfranchising@dunkinbrands.com. An informational franchising webinar will also be held on Thurs., Oct. 23, 3-4pm. Click here to register.

Dunkin' has 60 operating restaurants in Michigan.
