Dwight Yoakam, Home Free Added To Cherry Fest Lineup

Country star Dwight Yoakam and opening act Home Free will perform on the Pepsi Bay Side Music Stage at the National Cherry Festival on Sunday, July 3.

Dwight Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and is a 21-time nominated, multiple-Grammy Award winner. He has 12 gold albums and 9 platinum or multi-platinum albums, with five of those albums topping Billboard’s Country Albums chart and another 14 landing in the Top 10. Nearly 40 of Yoakam’s singles have charted on Billboard, with 14 peaking in the Top 10. Yoakam is a recipient of the Artist of the Year award from the Americana Music Association and was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019. Country a cappella group Home Free will open for Dwight Yoakam at the Cherry Festival.

Tickets for Dwight Yoakam and Home Free go on sale Friday, March 25 at 9am online or at 888-212-3258. Tickets are $45 for general admission or $60 for reserved tickets. The festival's VIP Deck Experience, featuring complimentary adult beverages, an elevated view of the Bay Side Music Stage, and a full buffet meal, will also return this year. A limited number of VIP Deck passes will be available for Dwight Yoakam and Home Free at $170 each.

Dwight Yoakam and Home Free are the sixth night of entertainment announced for the 2022 National Cherry Festival. Sheryl Crow will perform on July 2, Collective Soul and Tesla will perform on July 4, Jim Gaffigan will perform on July 6, ZZ Top will perform on July 8, and Boyz II Men will perform on July 9.
