Farmers Markets Start This Weekend At GT Commons, Farm Club

By Beth Milligan | Nov. 7, 2020

While the Sara Hardy Downtown Farmers Market is officially done for the season in Traverse City, other markets are cropping up across the region starting this weekend.

Multiple vendors who are typically found at Sara Hardy will move over to the Indoor Farmers Market at The Village at Grand Traverse Commons starting today (Saturday). Vendors will be spaced out in the North Mercato and Kirkbride Hall, with social distancing and masking requested of shoppers. The Indoor Farmers Market will take place every Saturday November-April from 10am to 2pm.

In Leelanau County, Farm Club is similarly launching a weekly Saturday market starting today through January 2 from 10am to 2pm. The market will offer breakfast sandwiches and donuts, coffee from BLK MRKT, Farm Club’s stocked indoor merchandise section and grab-and-go cooler, and a produce tent outside featuring Loma Farm products. Farm Club’s regular restaurant and bar menu will be available starting at noon.
