Home Sales In Holding Pattern to Start Year

April 17, 2025

Area home sales are relatively steady and didn't show a ton of movement in listing volume or price during the first quarter of 2025, according to sales data provided by Aspire North.

The median five county (Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benize, Antrim, Kalkaska) sales price in January, February and March was $350,000, $355,000 and $349,000, respectively. Total sales from the same period were $78 miliion, $58.5 million and $84 million.

March volume in the five county region was at 184 homes sold, up from 136 and 122 in January and February, respectively.

Perhaps most notable is that these numbers are not markedly different from the first quarter of 2024 or 2023 after substantial year-over-year growth for several years prior.
