Join us for a special Recess at Goodwill Northern Michigan's Food Rescue program on Wednesday, May 7 - where attendees will enjoy delicious food and beverages and a chance to win great prizes including a $500 gift card to The Boathouse, a floating water mat from Action Water Sports, and a $100 Goodwill Northern Michigan thrifting spree!

Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy delicious food including In It To Win It protein balls, veggies/hummus, fruit, cookies, and appetizers prepared with food items rescued by Food Rescue and prepared in the Food Rescue kitchen! Beverages including beer, wine, lemonade, and water will be offered.

Recess attendees will be entered into a drawing to win great prizes, including:

> Floating water mat from Action Water Sports ($550 value)
> $100 Goodwill Northern Michigan Thrifting Spree

Attendees will also have a chance to play a game to win a Food Rescue Swag Bag. A special silent auction will be available at the event for a chance to bid on additional prizes, including:

Admission to Recess is $10 and open to the public. Silent auction proceeds and on-site donations will benefit Food Rescue, which rescues, harvests, repacks, and distributes 2 million pounds of food annually — $3.34 million worth of food — to 78 food pantries, community meal sites, and baby pantries.

Recess goes from 5pm to 7pm. Food Rescue is located at 2889 Aero Park Drive in Traverse City (enter through Main Entrance). Park in the warehouse parking lot or overflow parking is across the street at 2879 Aero Park Drive. Recess 2025 is brought to you by Grand Traverse County, a Grand Place to Live, Work & Play.
