By Beth Milligan | June 3, 2019

Join The Ticker in kicking off summer with a special indoor-outdoor Recess at The Filling Station Microbrewery Wednesday (June 5) - where one winner will win a TC Cycle Pub Tour for 4-6 people valued at $200!

Attendees at The Ticker's monthly after-work happy hour will enjoy socializing, live music on the patio from Mike Moran Music, and delicious food and beverages, including Filling Station's famous wood-fired pizzas (including vegetarian and vegan options), red pepper hummus and spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips, and spicy beer cheese and pretzels. A selection of tasty beverages will be offered, including Filling Station's craft beer, sweet and dry ciders, a Raspberry Spritzer (made with Filling Station's new Raspberry Kettle Sour), and fountain sodas/lemonade. Attendees will have an opportunity to hear special updates on the progress of the Boardman Lake Trail Loop project, and be entered into a door drawing to win great prizes, including:

> A TC Cycle Pub Circle Cycle Tour for 4-6 people ($200 value)
> A $50 Filling Station gift card
> A $25 Filling Station gift card

Attendees can also be entered into a special drawing for smart commuting to Recess as part of Smart Commute Week organized by TART Trails. Any attendee who cycles, walks, takes the bus, or carpools to Recess will be entered into a separate prize drawing for a $25 gift card to The Filling Station.

Admission to Recess is $10 and is open to the public. The event goes from 5pm to 7pm. The Filling Station is located in the Depot neighborhood off of Woodmere Avenue - next to the Traverse Area District Library - at 642 Railroad Place. NOTE: Due to the reconstruction of Eighth Street, Woodmere Avenue is only accessible via Eighth Street from the east.

The 2019 Recess series is presented by Caliber Home Loans - Northern Michigan.
