Josh Davis Returns for Hometown Concert May 7

May 1, 2015

Traverse City singer-songwriter Joshua Davis - one of six remaining finalists competing for a $100,000 record deal on NBC reality show The Voice - will return home for a special live concert next Thursday, May 7 at the State Theatre at 7:30pm. Doors will open at 6:45pm for the free event. Attendees can begin lining up in the afternoon outside the venue, with admission available on a first-come, first-served basis. Davis is expected to arrive at 5:30pm, and fans are encouraged to greet him with signs and cheers.

NBC is scheduled to be on hand to record the homecoming concert, which will air on The Voice the following week if Davis makes it to the Top Five. Davis performs on the show on Monday, May 4, with one contestant eliminated from the show on Tuesday, May 6. Davis' concert will take place regardless of whether he makes the cut, but moving ahead will mean NBC's participation in the hometown concert. Because the network could be filming, attendees are asked not to wear clothing or hats with logos or brand artwork on them. Concertgoers will need to sign a release to enter the theater, and attendees under 18 will need the signature of their parent or guardian.
