New COVID Rapid Testing Facility Opens Doors

March 10, 2021

TC Rapid Testing, a new COVID-19 test facility, opened its doors in Traverse City this week. The business, located at 3301 Veterans Drive, offers accurate COVID-19 tests with results within 15 minutes.

The facility offers curbside service, whereby customers receive the COVID-19 antigen test in their own cars. The clinic says results have been proven to have 94 percent sensitivity.

“The need for continued testing is still here”, says Macaire Dutmers, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and manages the facility, “Even though positive rates and deaths are declining, rapid testing, along with wearing masks and social distancing, will be necessary to continue us on this positive trend until everyone is vaccinated.”

Testing is $125, and the clinic testing accepts credit cards and cash. Clients are taken on a first come, first served basis. Learn more at 231-252-FAST.
