Sips & Giggles Show Pairs Comedy & Wine Saturday

A Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail event will pair local wines with national comedians tonight (Saturday) for an evening of wine, food and entertainment.

The Sips & Giggles Comedy Show will take place at Leelanau Studios, kicking off with a pre-show happy hour from 6pm to 8pm featuring​ ​​local​ ​wine​ ​from​ ​Shady​ ​Lane​ ​Cellars and Chateau​ ​Fontaine, Chateau​ ​de​ ​Leelanau​ ​Tractor​ ​Pull​ ​Hard​ ​Ciders,​ ​brews​ ​from​ ​Right​ ​Brain​ ​Brewery​ ​and​ ​snacks​ ​available​ ​for​ ​purchase. At 8pm, the comedy show - presented by Uncorrect Comedy - will feature sets from three comedians, including Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival veteran and Comedy Central and The​ ​Late​ ​Late​ ​Show​ ​with​ ​Craig​ ​Ferguson performer Geoff Tate. Tate will be joined by special guest comedian Jeff Horste (Comedy​ ​Central​ ​and​ ​Fox​ ​TV’s Laughs) and ​local​ ​comic​ ​Joshua​ ​Paul​ ​(winner​ ​of​ ​Natives​ ​Got​ ​Talent).

Tickets are available for $20 in advance online or $25 at the door and include theater-style general admission seating, a souvenir wine glass, and Sex (a dry sparkling rosé from Mawby) at the door. The event is for ages 21 and up only. Leelanau Studios is located at 10781 East Cherry Bend Road.
