Sunrise Rotary Awards Fall Grants

The Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation has awareded $6,200 in fall mini-grant awards.

The grantee organizations are: Arts for All Northern Michigan-Art Escapes, Blackbird Arts-Teen Studio: Voices and Visibility, El Grupo Norte Youth Cycling-Estrellas Balance Bikes, Grass River Natural Area-Citizen Science Volunteer Program, Great Lakes Children’s Museum-Underserved Support, Grow Benzie-Hive Minded Afterschool, and Mancelona Public School-Sound and Science.

The foundation reports that its grant priorities are arts/culture, basic human needs, environment, health and safety, recreation, education, and youth. Since its inception, Rotary Club of Traverse Bay Sunrise Foundation has awarded more than $74,000.
