The Detroit Lions Want To Give You Free Ice Cream

July 2, 2018

If you're in Traverse City this week, you'll want to stop by West Grandview Parkway across the street from the National Cherry Festival for free ice cream, thanks to the Detroit Lions. Representatives of the Lions will be on-hand inside "The Ferocious Freeze," an ice cream truck. Lions fans who stop by can get a free ice cream cone. The truck will be at the downtown Traverse City location July 4, 5, and 6 and will be traveling to other spots in and around Traverse City during the entire week.

The truck is touring the state this summer and will conclude its trip during the team's training camp in August.
