
Two Arrested For Meth In Traffic Stop

Michigan State Police troopers arrested two individuals for possession of methamphetamine in a traffic stop in Garfield Township over the weekend.
Troopers stopped a vehicle at 3:52am Friday on South Airport Road near Garfield Road for several violations. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Justin Scott Alvarado from Saginaw, and his passenger, 33-year-old Christina Rose Lindsay from Traverse City, were found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Both were placed under arrest and lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
Alvarado was arraigned in the 86th District Court in Grand Traverse County on one count of possession of methamphetamine. He was given a PR bond. Lindsay was arraigned in the 86th District Court in Grand Traverse County on one count possession of methamphetamine. She was given a $10,000 10 percent bond.
