DDA to Host TIF Open House at Library Monday

By Beth Milligan | Oct. 23, 2026

The Traverse City Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host an open house Monday, October 26 on the proposed Infrastructure First TIF Plan that will appear on the November 3 ballot.

The open house "will serve as an informational opportunity for community members to review details of the proposal, as well as learn how TIF works and how it has supported downtown infrastructure and services," according to a release. "DDA staff will be available to answer questions, explain the plan’s key provisions, and help residents understand the proposal and the work of the DDA."

The event will take place from 6pm to 7:30pm in the McGuire Room at Traverse Area District Library on Woodmere Avenue. The open house is free and open to the public.
